Pandora Radio

I have a subscription to Pandora One (without ads) on the desktop and a different station that was accessed on the laptop. This was the first song up today for the writing session. I liked it (and check out the last line).

Tomorrow I'll have a bit more teasers for Heart Journey when I talk about the synopsis format I use.

May you enjoy your own music today.

Any chance you could post the best proposal your agent had ever seen in your extra's section on your web page?

I'd like to see what an actual proposal looks like

I have 2 questions about editing.

First, have you ever read a book, and thought, how in the heck did this get published. Mispelled, bad grammer, choppy, I'm talking pure crap. As hard as it seems to get published, how do books like this make it through the process.

Second, I'm not sure if you read Laurell K Hamilton, but I've always wondered two things about her series. She forgets about plot, or seems to, from one book to the next in the series. Entire story arcs are lost or ignored. Aren't Editors, publishers suppose to catch that kind of thing? And her series got 'hot' started making top ten bookseller lists when she added sex to her series.
So does she continue, even with fan's screaming for her to stop, because her editor's/publishers want her to keep it in on the premise her sales will drop if she doesn't? Is it better to be controversial with reader reviews vilifing, then to write the great stories her books started out. And if sex sells, are you pressured or required to include sex scenes in your books? It seems I can't read anything anymore without someone getting spanked and bedded. Is there going to be a Heart Spank.

One last question, are there pro sports in Celta?

I know sports like fencing, para sailing, etc exist. But what about team pro sports. Does Celta have a Hulk Hogan, Mike Tyson, or Tiger woods?

And, ok this is two questions, what is the population of the planet, and the capital.

At times, I think a couple hundred thousand live in the capital, others not even ten thousand.

Tannun, I DO need to revamp the website, one of the things I hope to do in the next couple of weeks.

Next, typos happen, shoddy copy editing happens, etc. I do the best I can, and usually pay my own editor for the page proofs, but things slip by. I am sure there are reasons for major glitches, but without knowing the publishers, it's difficult to say what might go on.

Re: Laurel K. Hamilton, I'm a softie, so I didn't read her first series when her heroine sacrificed chickens. I did read two of the Merry Gentry series but was told by others that it deteriorated after that, so I didn't continue to follow it. Also, re: LKH, I am sure she writes what she wishes. Usually when you reach the stature she does, you are lightly edited, if at all. My critique group usually saves me from plot gaffes.

Heart Thief was the most deliberately sensual/sexual of my books. After that, I just write what I believe the stories should have, though I did pull back on the Summoning Books. With the Luna books, the romance and sex are secondary, so if I want to fade to black, I do.

If I found spanking sexually stimulating, I might consider including it in a book. Since I don't, it won't be in there. So far the next two books will be Heart Search and Heart Secret.

PROPOSAL:
This was the summoning proposal, it was the first three chapters of Guardian of Honor and a synopsis. The first chapter of both Sorceress of Faith and Protector of the Flight and synopses.

I am unsure of the population of Druida City. It is the capital of Celta...or at least that particular continent. Chinju, settled by people from Arianarhod's Wheel, has it's own city and towns. Population remains sparse, but I'm not sure how sparse...
